At Nova Falcons, we provide technical assistance and environmental consultancy services, as well as field work for environmental impact studies and reports, censuses, wildlife monitoring or habitat studies and monitoring and implementation of environmental regulations.
Likewise, and in direct relation with our Environmental Health department, which operates under the name of Nova Control, we collect and take all types of samples for subsequent analysis in a certified laboratory for the type of sample or pollutant that needs to be detected.
From Nova Control, our Environmental Health department, we carry out analysis and control of all types of water, as well as the biological maintenance of all types of water installations: consumption, bathing, irrigation... as well as analysis of accumulations and natural water streams.
We also provide all our clients in Ibiza and Formentera with microbiological air analysis services by collecting and cultivating samples, as well as collecting and analysing polluting environmental gases.

Environmental Education
Helping to preserve biodiversity
At Nova Falcons we attach great importance to biodiversity and its preservation. For this reason, our staff not only have the appropriate training for the work they are going to carry out, but we also ensure that they know and respect each of the species with which they work on each project.
This professionalism allows our technicians to give training talks to students of all ages, as well as to adults, public bodies, companies, etc.
At Nova Falcons, the aim of environmental education is to contribute to the promotion of respect for the environment. We also take advantage of falconry to raise public awareness of the importance of conserving the different species of birds of prey, explaining their biology and the role they play in their original ecosystem. We also try to highlight the importance that each species of an ecosystem has, directly or indirectly, in the conservation of the rest of the species. In no case are these exhibitions merely for show.
According to the age and abilities of the public, we show them the characteristics and function that birds of prey have within their respective ecosystems, and the benefit that their conservation means for the planet and for all of us.
Captive breeding
At Nova Falcons we do not make captive breeding an economic activity, we have occasionally bred birds of prey for self-sufficiency, and for purely professional reasons. This experience enables us to collaborate or provide technical assistance in captive breeding and reproduction for raptor species recovery programmes.
On the other hand, for those interested in contacting a breeding centre, our friendship ties with other breeders, allow us to offer, in a disinterested way, recommendations of ethical breeding centres. Professional breeders, who will be able to cover the needs of someone looking for a single falcon, as well as for those who are looking for a larger number of peregrine falcons, gyrfalcons, saker falcons or hybrids of different types.
